Welcome to our information section. Please allow us to tell you a bit about Chutney Hut – an Indian restaurant in Boston Road, Hanwell. We are very proud of the restaurant as we put a lot of thought and hard work into making it what it is. An interior designer was engaged to create a welcoming yet stylish feel to the restaurant. Everything inside is new, fresh and clean – come to see for yourself. You may wonder why we decided to call the restaurant Chutney Hut. Hut suggests something small and cosy, where you would feel welcome, safe and warm. Chutneys are Indian pickles served with every meal – they are indispensable in Indian cooking. We wanted everyone who comes to Chutney Hut to feel welcome and to enjoy a every morsel of their Indian meal. We opened on 27th October 2005 and invited the Mayor of Ealing, Bollywood movie stars and representatives of the Ealing business community. Since then many of the guests came again to enjoy more of our cooking. We insist on highest quality, fresh ingredients. All meats are fresh – never defrosted – and come from local suppliers, vegetables are also fresh. We only use natural colours and flavours. All dishes are prepared in our kitchen and cooked fresh every day. Oh, we haven’t introduced the management team yet... Chutney Hut is run by Allum and Hussain – a team with long experience in restaurant and hotel business. Hussain has worked in top class hotels all over Europe and lately in Park Lane Hilton and Royal Overseas Club in Green Park. He had the responsibility over the standard of food and drink served to the rich and famous (including Princess Royal) – and he brought his experience to the Chutney Hut restaurant. He ensures dishes are served at Chutney Hut of the highest quality and that the service is seamless. Allum on the other hand comes from a family with long experience in running restaurants. He takes care of the day to day affairs of the business. Chutney Hut is an Indian restaurant – but India is a huge place with varied styles of cooking. We have chosen mainly north Indian, Bengali style with medium hot, aromatic dishes. Our chef prepares these with love, attention and great skill acquired over 17 years of cooking at several excellent Indian restaurants in London.
